...My cousin is amazingsauce, and her characters are too! :la: She's having a contest where you describe her character just off of what you know from the drawings! From what I've seen of =WolfAvenge's Tate, he appears to be soft-spoken and a bit strange. I always gathered that he is the shy romantic. So here goes nothin'

This piece of hers is called "Set Fire to the Rain". In it, she quotes Adele's song:
"But there's a side to you that I never knew, never knew
All the things you'd say, they were never true, never true
And the games you play, you would always win, always win"
Tate, like Adele, was probably a bit love-struck. He might have realized there was a negative side of whoever he was interested in once the relationship ended badly. This probably caused him to become really self-conscious and perhaps feel like he wasn't being true to himself. I think Tate believes he's a tad strange, so it might take a while for him to warm up to others or actually feel for someone at all. This gave me the idea that he's the "romantic" of =WolfAvenge's characters. His position in this picture suggests a sort of longing... perhaps for others to understand him. The strange "alien" markings seem like a language of sorts, perhaps something that makes sense to him but not to others. And the fact that the background colors are dark suggest a definite worry that he will be alone with his own musings, and never be able to share them.

In this picture, Tate is only saying one word, one that GladOS already said herself. The fact that he's falling perhaps suggests a downward plunge into perhaps his own mind? Or maybe he feels like he's "upside down" compared to others in the world. While GladOS presents a superior technological force transformed into a spud, Tate is still the same. Perhaps he feels he himself is quite intelligent, but since he doesn't say much, isn't considered as such.

Here Tate is, once again, being a little strange, sticking his tongue out. It reminds me of a picture of Einstein where he is sticking out his tongue- almost like he's saying: "who cares, I'm Tate. I am an individual." Yet, his hair is still in front of his eyes, suggesting a bit of a worry that someone will start picking through him. Perhaps he's more confident and crazy when he's on his own, but in the presence of others, he becomes shy and blushy.

Hope you like this Seesterzin! I spent a few hours on it, and I really like the result ;D
